you stupid beagle, waking up the Brown house like that with your vivid imagination
Beagle PTSD.
This is a truly funny strip
I was expecting a row of bullet holes across the foot of the bed.
Why can’t you be more like ‘Timmy Martin’s Lassie’ Snoopy, and sleep peacefully (yet protectively) at the foot of the bed?
Snoopy will wear those goggles and helmet again on Halloween when Linus mistakes him for the Great Pumpkin.
If this was the movie Patton Snoopy would have been slapped by Patton by now.
If you are a fan of Peanuts, check out today’s Off The Mark.
…and we read this in the Sunday paper as kids?! Yow… :-S
That look on Chuck’s face at the end is priceless.
Snoopy has a serious case of PTSD.
In the real war he would have been lucky not to have been executed for “cowardice”.
And once again a 1972 Joe Eskimo related strip (politically incorrect for today’s world) is shafted in favor of a 1966 Peanuts Sunday strip!
Classic.
At least he’s not thinking about Thompson’s fate!
Who else read that scream of anguish in Snoopy’s cute little voice??? <3
Curse you, Red Barron!
Ha ha, Snoopy has shell shock.
Schulz may have had PTSD himself, and this strip may have been a little peek of it getting out.
Snoopy has such a good imagination, he can imagine PTSD… or as they called it back in the day, “shell shock” or “battle fatigue.”
Where is the foot, it should extend beyond the door?
