Bill and Hillary. Far and away the worst Democrats in my lifetime (I was born during the Eisenhower Administration). Bill turned the Dems into Republican Lite and Hillary was so pathetic she couldn’t even beat Donald Effing Trump.
OK, Go Comics, this is really, really, really annoying. First, you skip over the first 9 strip in this story arc. Now you skip over another two strips? Seriously, knock it off!
For those of you drawing parallels with the Lewinsky scandal, you’re way off. This arc ran before that scandal ever broke. This was meant to ridicule Clinton for inviting Hollywood celebs to the White House just so he could meet them.
That was Clinton, especially in his first term. He’d start to do something good, then someone would object, and he’d back off fast enough to make your head spin. Among other things, that’s why he never delivered a national health-care policy. The only things he was willing to spend political capital on were Republican initiatives like NAFTA and dismantling welfare.

It’s because they are paid enough that the meeting didn’t go through.
