I think the Dodgers would much rather play the Yankees than the Astros right now.

The obsession with NY and LA teams is one of the many, if not the most, toxic issues in the sports world.

The media would love such a matchup, but I am going to go out on a limb and say not this year.

As an Astros fan I profoundly disagree with the caller. As a Baseball fan even more so.

I’m so out of baseball, I had to look it up to see that the Astros are in contention.

I wonder how many readers remember the old Brooklyn Bums vs. the Bronx Bombers subway series?

I remember the 1955 World Series when the Dodgers beat the Yankees in 7 games … and the 1956 Series when they didn’t.

I know the NY Yankees Network, AKA MLB Network would love it. Sick of watching Yankees vs everyone or anyone on that station

Wouldn’t care about a series like that. I don’t even watch the Yankees/Boston series.

I thought the Braves were America’s team. Astros or Twins (or Indians) would be fun.

They have met 11 times in the World Series with the last meeting in 1981. They can go anther 38 years as far as I am concerned.
