Reminds me of the time some friends visited us from a major city and stayed overnight . We live in rural Pennsylvania. They had never seen the night sky in all it’s glory.
Unless the weather brings a large dose of rain, it is likely VA will see only green and brown, without the usual colorful transition.
Since the colors show when the chlorophyll drains from the leaves, doesn’t that make chlorophyll the artificial color?
You’d see that out in Caleafornia.
This reminds me. It’s time for another trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
