As a former teacher, I can tell you that this cartoon is totally made up. Heh heh, not real at all. No sir, just a fairy tale. Nothing to see here, Move on to the next cartoon…

I do so love your style and this detail deserves a bigger size. Also they are called shuriken.

A shuriken (Japanese: 手裏剣; literally: “hidden hand blade”) is a Japanese concealed weapon that was used as a hidden dagger or metsubushi to distract or misdirect.

(The real ones are heavy and razor sharp.)
