Charles the Cluless Duke of Dumb. Once Charlene gets to the punchline, she throws the pencil at him. If you look closely he has hundreds of tiny craters all over his head.

Should he get up and run … before she finishes?

Should he try to find a safe place or be ready to hold on tight? or …

I notice these were not all prepared in advance? Is that a good sign?

When my wife gets out the easel and flip charts, I know it’s gonna get ugly and I’m not gonna like it.

Charles has been in this predicament before.. Clara has trouble speaking when she’s spitting mad but most times cools off when she runs out of paper. His best move at the moment would be a bathroom break and come back with a gin and tonic for Clara.

My wife lost her voice near the end of her life. There was always some dreadful anticipation when she would get mad and start writing two or three pages of diatribe.

We can only hope Clara wrote slowly since Charles is slow to read…
