He’s king of his castle. And about as stable.

Listen to Edna, Everett, your delusions of grandeur are about to give you a sunburn of epic proportions.

That’s a fine looking castle, but the moat works better if it’s up against the castle walls so there’s no place to put the foot of a ladder.

Everett thinks he is Laurence of Arabia. Edna knows he’s Everett of Golden Gardens Park Beach in Ballard. He’s also going to be a patient of the Ballard Emergency Hospital and Creamery if he doesn’t get out of the sun.

“Plenty” don’t cover it.

An architectural masterpiece. A wonder of construction. A showpiece to His subjects. … all washed away … first by the words of his wife … and then by the tide and the waves.

Everett is sometimes known as Sandy Shorts.

Everett Rules his domain.

Don’t be telling the king of his castle about how much sun he can have. Be off with your head or if it’s your lucky day.. the rack

Ah, well, life’s a beach, isn’t it, Everett?

I want to see Everett step out of the castle without destroying it! ;o]

My mom owned a beach home in a tourist area. The things you see, even on family-style beach. The worst are the drunks passed out in the sun with skin the color of a cooked lobster.

I have to say, Everett’s beach play is far superior to mine. Same sport, different league.

Everett has had a little too much sun, me thinks.
