In his defense, Leonard thought Emily would notice on her own, so he didn’t want to embarrass her again. Especially after the last episode.

Emily has a big head and heavy hair. Once in High School, she tossed her curls and wiped out half the English.class.

Those chairs are actually pretty hard to tip over while you are sitting in them. Of course, most of the characters in this strip are unbalanced to start with. :)
