In some of P.G. Wodehouse’s books there is reference to a “bailiff’s man”, whom creditors will install in an upper class household to make sure nothing is sold off until the debt is settled. Sometimes he agrees to pose as a valet or other servant to avoid embarrassment.

They must have done something worse than owe money to get this guy. :)

The Carlisles are going to have to invest in a good exterminator. An extraction is going to be necessary.
