Since the incident with the lighter, Stephen no longer actually smokes his pipe.

With good reason. Stephen exudes savoir-faire.

Testing the waters, initial training in pipe cleaning and re-assembly starts Monday.

(Not sure who will lead the demo.)

Stephen isn’t gonna be impressed with Rusty chewing on his 100 year old Meerschaum.

Rusty says he needs his pipe refilled.

But of course he is. He is Stephen’s faithful dog.

Rusty gets the cat-flavored tobacco.

Rusty is wondering if Stephen might be almost done with the paper. He’d like to look at it next.

“Elementary, my dear Rusty.”

Which one is which?

“Sshh, pipe down, Rusty.”

Don’t think I’d care to share a good pipe with a dog. That’s not saying I’d have any use for one either. The tobacco ruins your health and the pipe stem ruins your teeth.

Rusty-Wusty liked to smoke.
