Some people have NO thoughts, and some people don’t.

Heloise can’t claim to have deeper thoughts that Clarence, since she can’t take her mind off being peeved at him.

Harold is imagining that the fly is Heloise, and Heloise knows it. Her deep thoughts are of putting Harold six feet under.

What it comes down to is that Heloise is jealous that Harold has a purpose in life. She’s still searching.

Each marriage partner’s style is best summed up as NOW! and Zen.

I don’t believe it takes deep thoughts to smack a fly. Yes, they are Gods creatures but perhaps, just guessing here.. flies were made to stimulate our hunting instinct.

She’s giving him the “fly eye”.

Clarence is finally going to test the assertion that “he wouldn’t hurt a fly”.
