While his wife Nancy does her best to suck all of the joy out of those around her.

TODAY’S LIMERICK.

Martin is acting the clown,

And causing poor Nancy to frown.

The world’s gone insane,

So he’s doing the same.

And he’s spending his life upside down.

.. as well as sucking all the change out of the sofa.

Really? It looks to me like maybe Martin has brought his energy (and love of life) into the room and is using it and sharing it. The woman (his wife?) is the one who appears to only want to share her lack of energy and enthusiasm — which is what is really tending to suck the life and energy (and joy) out of the room.

But the energy (and laughter) comes back whenever he falls over and does a face plant.

He’s been seeing all those “chair workout” ads on social media

Nancy can’t stand handstands.

Seems my premium membership ran out and with all the adds GoComics is just not worth viewing. When they reinstate comments on the political cartoons I will be back. It’s been fun but I’m out for now.

Archie and Arlene have been trying to figure out how to do that for years… ☺

And his wife has a way of swinging her hand where his tingle bells hang…….thus his energy is quelled…………
