Brings to mind some dialogue I thought up that might happen in an early episode if this comic were ever animated.

Phoebe: So, wait. Unicorns can just improvise entire songs on the spot, complete with instrumentals from no apparent source?

Marigold: Indeed, and I can grant you that power as well.

Phoebe: Lay it on me.

I mean, it seems like this would be the kind of show that often does musical numbers.

Marigold must have watched ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ last night. Dance-off time!

Marigold just looks so happy at the idea of dancing. But then, I’m happy when she dances. :D

Rap battle.

How much you wanna bet Marigold’s suggestion of what they do today was “have a dance contest” and is trying to get her way by virtue of Phoebe going along with “the way unicorns do stuff”?

Phoebe would rather have Mari dance to her tunes!

Marigold is clearly inspired by the book The Last Unicorn, but it’s strips like these that show how original she truly is. Bust a move, Mari :D

Some people can dance and talk at the same time. Dancing and listening  is harder, though.
