@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , for our Hero Mr Andrew Capp and his pal Chalkie, beggars can’t be choosers so even tho , Eric’s home brewed beer tastes awful they chug it down since there is nothing better :o)my avatar is about lLego blocks and per centages of their use , when my boys were kids we bought them a lot of sets and many a time I stepped barefoot on one of those (expletive) things :o{ did you have any of those building blocks when you were a kid? How was your day? ours looks like its going to be very busy verging on hectic, have fun pal.

An old friend of mine used to make some excellent home brew. He even made a black lager which went down well.

Me and my friends used to make home brew. One particular batch smelled really bad (of course, we still drank it). Fast forward 30 years and I’ve moved to the States and I smell my first skunk. Guess what it smelled like… :-)

I’m surprised we didn’t see the contrails of them leaving.

There are limits to what Chalkie and Andy will drink. But they’re pretty limited.

With Andy it’s always quantity over quality, but I AM a bit surprised at Chalkie……..

I once tried making home-made wines but… because I don’t have the patience to sit around and wait for it to age properly and I really am into instant gratification, I started making home-brewed beers.

We had a beer club – our motto was Beer Isn’t Just For Breakfast – and we would have monthly get-togethers to sample each other’s newest brew or to have “blind tastings” of craft beers on the market.

Unfortunately, a ringer joined our group of guzzlers and his beer was so good, we were forced to disband – especially after he opened his own micro-brewery. Turns out he learned to brew beer while living in Germany and became a meister brewer over there.

He moved to Sedona, Arizona with his German wife and daughters and opened The Oak Creek Brewing Co. Great guy, fantastic beers, and fun place to hang out in those days. We even got him to brew a really decent stout for St. Patrick’s Day.

I have a root beer making kit that I really need to get around to using. I also had a wine making kit, but I seem to have lost it.
