This seems a little out of place but I see the date is 5/13/07. Still, you’d think they could have run something else – like an April Fools column.

They did the restart on the wrong date so this is gonna happen.

I look at the crowds outside restaurants on Mothers Day and wonder where they are the other 51 weeks of the year.

The best Mother’s Day we ever managed included taking my mother-in-law to a sushi place for lunch. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, and the staff treated her like royalty. It was great.

“Never buy anything you can’t resell at a profit.”

Handling your grocery shopping that way would be a great way to lose weight. Either you don’t buy it because you can’t resell it at a profit and therefore don’t eat it, or you resell it at a profit and therefore don’t eat it. Of course, eventually you starve to death, but what the hell….

Those two on the right don’t look like Ferangi…

I guess Ralston’s mother isn’t as into philosophical, poetic, social critical, theologians as he is.
