They just have to keep adding super powers, don’t they. I think the one I found the most outrageous was Superman’s hearing was faster than the speed of sound (in at least story). You can hear things before the sound reaches you?

Superpowers don’t have to sound good to make for good characters. Just look at Squirrel Girl, or Yomiko Readman.
