I would’ve called them as soon as I learned about the party and told them I couldn’t make it Saturday night. You don’t have to tell them why, simply that you can’t make it. If you’ve done a good job for them in the past they will hire you again. Better than letting him rip you off.

So is there only ONE couple in town that has a kid that needs babysitting, that you can’t afford to lose one customer??

Sisters always do it.

My question is, Are these parents okay with Brad as a babysitter? Do they know him, or are they just expected to leave the kid(s) with a stranger?

And the parents are okay with what Brad’s doing? My mom might have taken over the babysitting as soon as the child was in bed. She did it a few times when the parents were late getting home or at the end of a 3 day babysitting job.

Just noticed the slant to the strip. Is that to remind us that it’s an old strip, sort of like it’s been torn out and pasted here?
