I keep trying to sign up to volunteer, and keep getting rejected due to ubiquitous background checks. I think if I just started picking up trash on the side of the road on my own, I’d get fined for unauthorized waste disposal and trespass.
In Australia you are fined if you don’t vote. They elect some real doozies. Actually, that’s an old thought. We don’t really have anything to brag about, at present.

I have inspired vast numbers to vote simply by letting them know I always vote.
The joke’s on them…it only takes ONE vote to cancel mine.
