    That looks like me trying to get out of a sweater my grandmother made for me when I was young. The more I struggled, the more it ensconced me within its tethers.

    My wife brought home a black cat, that I thought would look cute with a red collar. (She did!) It was easy enough to put it on her. Getting it off after she got one of her front legs stuck through it… Who knew a 3-legged cat was that damn fast! Once we caught her, I had to cut the collar off with a pair of side cutters.

    Over-care has probably ruined more pets than anything else. People seem to impose on a pet what they think (guess) it needs, rather than learning all there is to know about characteristics of the particular breed. Often times, less is more, except when it comes to obedience training. For that, there is no substitute.
