Arlo and Janis have the kind of love and marriage 90% of married couples would love to still have. Unfortunately people change and fall into a dreary routine where romance is pushed to the background. I know someone is going to reply “Not my wife and I”. For most, when children come along, romance is few and far between til the kids grow up. At that point, romance is knowing what your partner is thinking, doing things for them before they ask, being considerate. Love and romance does not always have to include kissing and sex.

If Arlo was on a dating app I’m sure part of his profile would say “Loves leisurely strolls holding hands”. ;-)

I love holding my wife’s hand. This really makes me miss her today. She is out in Idaho visiting family. :-(

They could start a company — and make misery.

I think she’s hoping he’ll carry her home when her knees start to hurt.

My wife and I always hold hands when we walk. Even from the parking lot to the store, etc,

“I’m mizzerbul. I have a co’d.”
“Ah, that’s too bad.”
“No, I like being mizzerbul.”
