Just think today it would be worse as you would be pressing the send button instead of mailing the love letter.

Is there some significance to a blue envelope?

Decades ago I called my girlfriend’s dad who lived out of state to let him know I was going to ask her to marry me. Would like his permission/blessing. As soon as I hung up the phone, I assumed the facial antics in the last panel! Ah what had I done? I knew there was no backing out after that. Turned out pretty good for me!

Did you use the right address?

Interesting that in Luann Again, their shy young character is trying to deliver a love letter to his crush, too. Parallel universes, kinda. Either that, or short on storylines.

No fair trying to retrieve stuff from the mailbox, Michael. That’s a no-no.

Since you are new at this, did you put on enough postage? Maybe it will be returned?

I remember watching an old Leave it to Beaver episode a few years ago. Beaver or one of his friends had posted (mailed) something and climbed into the postbox in an attempt to get it out. Fun times.
