Today’s cartoon is funny. Some people will over analyze it to an unnecessary degree. My avatar is the same as always.

@Number Three , Today’s strip is not even slightly funny , everyone knows that our Hero Mr Andrew Capp is an annoying git whatever age he is :o), my avatar is a song : “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay” , by Otis Redding that I resembled when I was younger , because I would never let anything phaze me, not like now when I have become such a worry wart, how was your day , and what tune would you choose to characterize you? our day should be busy but calm I hope , have fun and thanks for caring pal.

I dunno. He doesn’t seem to have aged a day since I first read this strip nearly four decades ago.

The more things change, the more they remain the same?!

I know common sense is way the heck out of fashion these days, but I’m just going to mention a little bit of it, anyway: Nobody is under any moral obligation or physical compulsion to read any given comment, anymore than they are to read any given comic strip. And even Andy at his drunkest would agree with that!

I view change as a can’t live with it/can’t live without it sort of thing. It’s good that things stay the same sometimes, but it’s also good that things improve.
