What’s scary is that as we open up more and more opportunities, possibilities to more and more people, the odds of something like this keep getting bigger. This is, in fact, one of the three most likely reasons I can imagine for the Fermi Paradox.

They’re still having spills, still cleaning up and still killing sea and wildlife. Polluting land, air and seas….Not to mention the lives of people who depend on the seas for a livelihood. Regulations were thrown in the trash so all the industries headed by trumps buddies didn’t have to spend millions to comply to " stupid" policies.
