Given that she’s both the oldest and female, she’s almost certainly in for a disappointment. (Weird how the younger siblings are almost always taller than the eldest.)

Yep. My oldest sister is also the shortest in the family. I am the youngest, and the tallest. Being a guy, I passed both my sisters somewhere in our teens.

Funny how that happens because I’m 16 months younger than my brother and I’m an inch taller than he is. I’m also an inch taller than my dad.

I swear, Lucy must stay up nights devising ways to be annoying.

This comic strip appeared in Charlie Brown’s ‘Cyclopedia, volume 1: featuring your body. And unfortunately for Lucy, her little trick of pushing down on her little brothers head won’t stop him from growing.

Something else I can picture Rodrick Heffley doing to little brother Greg(the wimpy kid in Diary of a Wimpy kid series and the movies based on the books), push down on Greg’s head to stop him from growing. And in their cases, considering Rodrick is supposed to be four or five years older than Greg, at that. Still, later on after they would be grown up, Rodrick might be in for a surprise, to discover his little brother Greg had actually outgrown him by several inches. OK, even if Greg had a brother after him as well(Manny of course), still, chances could still be he would outgrow bossy big brother Rodrick. It’s the weekend of January 6-7 2024, 50 years to the time this strip was published.
