Let’s hear it for blankets!

Every. Single. Winter.

Is that Cat’s apron hanging over the footboard?

That’s why I snooze by the wood-burner :-)

Fuzzy blanket time according to the BCN calendar. I love how sometimes the cat strips sync up.

My blankets are out and ready. Pardon my smug smile :)

The wife said it’s time to put the flannel sheets on.

And the electric blanket. Two cats are ready to curl up on the blanket and with me. With a body temp of around 101, you really don’t need the blanket – yet.

I’m already up to two blankets, as of OCTOBER…..lol

It’s been below freezing every night here for weeks so blankets have been in place for awhile. Not quite as many as cat’s, though.

It’s been chilly here the last couple of nights but I’ve been resisting turning on the heat while J is here because I don’t want to risk triggering her asthma with that blast of dust that always accompanies the first heat startup of the season. So I put a blanket on the bed (usually I sleep under just a sheet) & at the moment I’m in my fuzzy robe & slipper sox. I’ll turn on the heat when she goes to spend a couple of nights at her BF’s.

I loved burrowing under a zillion blankets at the cottage in the chilly off-season.
