    And you are lucky in English. The German words for the armadillo and the platypus translate into “belt animal” and “beak animal”.

    One of my favorite originals is “Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker”.

    Hey, let’s rename the Bald Eagle (which isn’t bald) to “White Headed Carrion Eater”.

    Or humans to “Muddle Noggin Planet Killers”. Yeah, that works. :D
