Cash is still King for a lot of us Pluggers ! I wonder how folks who use plastic for everything keep track of a purchase statement when very few keep the receipt you get with a purchase.
Here is a tip, put your hand over the receipt slot to catch it because if the receipt flies off, you have to get out of the car and chase it (if you don’t want other people to get your info) and that is no fun especially when it’s windy.
This plugger has to get out of the car to use the drive-up ATM. My little Nissan is too close to the ground. FWIW, the nearest bank is about 10 miles away, so this is it.
Why in the world push clear or cancel once your card has been returned and the transaction completed? It clears itself. Pushing it once or twice is just paranoia.
The banks keep much better records than is required with paper receipts. Plus, usually you can have the receipts emailed. That cuts down on paper work. Not to mention, if you able to pay off the balance each and every month, THEY PAY YOU. So, paying by CC, and following the old advice of “never charge something you can’t pay for”, can actually make you money.

well, if the plugger is in his car pulled over a little closer to the ATM, this situation could’ve been avoided

However, Pluggers forget to take their money and just drive off without it.

Pluggers don’t use the ATM – they go inside the bank to withdraw money.
