I remember the time that a neighborhood basset escaped and followed me and my English Shedder home. Her speed was not impressive.
Been there; experienced that. When a basset is full of energy and the joy of going for a walk, they are truly a handful.
Shouldn’t that be a “bevy” of Bassets?
Pretty sure a “handful” would be literally 5. Or 4 if you are a cartoon. There’s only 3 there so literally not a handful.
