Over half my searches are checking the correct spellings for words in my comments to GoComics and Comics Kingdom’s strips.
I do that when my spell check says I’m wrong. I’m usually right. I’m crappy at math but I can darn sure spell!
Some times my spelling is so bad that google can’t figure out what I’m getting at.
Spelling/grammar pretty good . . .gawd fawbid I attract the attention of the Grammar Gestapo. . .typos, on the other hand. . .
Did you mean??
use my email dictionary most of the time
Nowhere near 70%, but yes, that accounts for many of my searches…
Try to remember when AltaVista and Google searches weren’t as good
My problem is I sometimes leave a word out, and leaving a ‘not’ out changes the whole meaning.
Most of my searches are for acronyms – I do try to find the answer before saying WTF?! on a comment.

Auto-correct, spell check, and “hey Siri” or “Alexa” would seem like simpler options…write? :-)
Google “Google”. But, don’t be surprised if you also get the Comic Strip:
“Barney Google & Snuffy Smith”.
Heh, mine too! :)
Check the definition of words I don’t recognise.
I never use anything for spell check. I see words in my head so I don’t have a problem with spelling. Typing, OTOH…
