Does anyone need to be reminded that the House Republicans who sit on the investigating committees (47 of ’em) have full access to the hearings and can question witnesses as much as they want? No? Good.
I’m paraphrasing, but Lord Vetanari (Patrician of Ankh-Morpork) once remarked that you should never build a dungeon you wouldn’t mind spending time in yourself. (He also had an unofficial staff of rats to keep him posted on developments.)
