Some one watched an old Laurel & Hardy film and the last panel seems straight out of Warner Bros. cartoons. Great work to get both in one strip.
If Horace had slipped on the banana peel, there would be no apples, a tree and going back to bed….ZZZZZZZZZ
One more panel: someone tries to hit him with a pie, and ends up splattering himself. :D :D :D
Not quite true, Horace. You found that hole very well.
You can trip on a banana peel, but not slip. Same outcome though.
Actually, in the last frame, Horace does one thing VERY right; he doesn’t fall into the open manhole. (But then, maybe he can’t, anyway, since it isn’t a ‘horse hole’…)
