I love Grandma. Such a good soul, taking care of Agnes and others. I read an anthropology article maybe a year ago that reasoned that humans were able to succeed as a species in large part because of the important role of grandmothers. Makes sense. I have nothing but happy memories of the love and care I got from both of mine. Great strong women, both.

[nsfw] True story. Two ladies were life long friends. Sally didn’t hear from Alice all day Friday. After worrying about her all weekend Sally waited for her Home Aide to show up Monday morning and went to see what was wrong. Alice was dead and Sally dropped dead when she saw her. The Home Aide had to be hospitalized too.

The moral of the story is don’t be afraid to call 911 first. They’d rather do a wasted call than be called too late.

Don’t worry guys, no tragedy or horror in the comics world. Right?
