My wife is studying to be a Deacon. She’s been through the Bible several times already. We have the most interesting theological discussions but I never challenge her on scripture.

My end of the discussion usually goes like, "Didn’t Jesus say something like …’

What difference does that make if it’s all the Word of God?

It proves you finally looked in the Bible, Lucy, nothing more. He could probably tell you every page number of that particular copy that sister appears on and how many times per page. And he could certainly tell you who begat who and how many generations from David, Abraham, Noah, Adam, Eve, Ruth, etc. a certain person is.
