I LOVE making scarves! They’re gorgeous, and I have them in a multitude of colors, and . . . I never wear them. Like Bub says, they’re kind of superfluous.
Living in the Frozen North of the US, where the winds come whipping off the plains (taking your body heat with them) and the snow can get as high as an elephants eye. We pretty much cover every inch of the body you can in multiple layers, they don’t have to be thick just add a vapor barrier. Even then there have been, merciful few, when we all look like the Michelin man.

I have to go rake leaves. The trees have lost about half their leaves and it’s time to get started.

Living in the tropical part of Germany makes a scarf a fashion statement, not a necessity.

I know it doesn’t seem like it around the upper Midwest US, but we’re not quite halfway through Autumn.
Can we stop skipping seasons please?
