I don’t mind taking out the trash, as long as the weather cooperates with my feet and my nose.

Seriously, Ralph? Have you never heard of recycling?

Well today WOULD have been trash day the Veteran’s Day pushes it back one day.

Trash on one side, and recycling on the other. That’s how it’s done here in Boston.

I need to find greater pleasure in life’s little things . . . like Ralph!

Yesterday was my trash day.

Everyday is a special day to Ralph.

We had recycling dumpster put in our community and they added 10 bucks a month to everyone’s bill. Problem was they just picked up the dumpsters with the same truck as the regular trash so what was the point. Complained about it and they removed the dumpsters and quit charging the extra money. Our community is to small for recycling to be mandatory if you wonder why they used dumpsters instead of door to door pickup.

Recycling winds up in a ship to the Far East where it is put in another ship and taken to the pacific where it is dumped.

Just like my obsession with trash day, lol!

I’m amazed at the number of people in my community that can’t figure out how to recycle cardboard even though we have a separate receptacle for it. They also have trouble understanding that plastic bags shouldn’t go in the recycle bins – despite many, many notices to this effect.

Gotta love garbage pick up day!

I don’t understand this one. Is it that he wasn’t sure if it was trash day or not, and it was and he didn’t miss it? Does have something to do with the idea that he did the recycling correctly and so the trash man accepted it?
