kids think of the darndest things

Dill, as long as they take turns, you don’t need to know their names.

It’s hard to learn new things when you’re a comic strip character and you never get older.

I was in my twenties before I figured ‘righty tighty, lefty loosey’.

“What a screwy notion” he said, bolting.

Don’t feel bad Ed, I once had someone ask me if unicorns were extinct.

Dill, that pose makes it hard for anyone to tell your feet apart!

I was at the playground with my daughter once, and a little boy a couple of swings over had just gotten the hang of pumping, and was having the time of his life. At that moment, his mother stormed over from a picnic shelter and grabbed him. “What are you doing? You know we’re just about to eat, now get right over there, etc., etc…” I just wanted to call out to her, “Lady, stop! You don’t understand! He JUST got it!”

Dave’s 2020 Resolutions.

1. Learn French.

2. Binge watch everything.

3. Craft beer.

I’d be grateful if this year I could just learn to keep my mouth shut!

Reasonable goals…

It’s not easy, Alice, until you get the hang of it! Keep trying!

Dill, feet are always confusing. Mine are totally disconnected from my brain, somehow, and I never could master dancing beyond the most mechanical, rote steps. “Two left feet” doesn’t even begin to tell the story!
