This heatwave is so overwhelming that it’s making Edith shut down. Maybe it has something to do with the dark color of her shirt. After all, dark colors can absorb heat faster than light colors.
And today in stupid: According to news reports a 38 yo man and his 2 step sons, 14yo and 21yo decided to go HIKING last week in Big Bend National Park Texas. The heat(which according to Park Rangers was 119 degrees F)got to the 14yo, the step father left returning to the car while the 21yo carried his 14yo brother. The 14yo died. They found the step father in his wrecked car, dead. Seriously, what on earth is wrong with people? Have they no sense of self preservation?
