I can just see a food-eating contest with all the contenders sitting with their dogs at their feet, waiting to catch the drips, the crumbs and the final 1/4th bite.
My preference would be that the rules required eating the whole hotdog. This taking the bun off, soaking in water, and slurping down the slush is kind of weird.
