How did I ever survived all the mock gun battles as a kid? My favorite cap pistol was a mock-up of a 1911. I wanted to emulate my brother and uncles who battled in WW2. God bless them.

I’m so glad I grew up in a family who’s parents both grew up with guns. Dad often had rifles and pistols in the house, and would take us target shooting from time to time. Good memories. All us kids had BB guns, and never got hurt. Dad’s favorite was a bicentenial 30-30 Winchester with a medalion in the butt.
