I don’t even know why Phoebe felt she needed to try and hide it anyway. The only reason she’s even a goblin is so she can speak the language, otherwise, she was game to go as a human. Maybe she didn’t want to get hung up on why she’s now a goblin, thinking it’d take too long to explain? Doesn’t she realize she could just say “Unicorn!” instead and be done with it?
