There are times when you’re not a Born Loser at all, Brutus Thornapple! Happy Thanksgiving.

Brutus, I’ve invented this wonderful gadget I call a ‘TV Tray’. I’ll send you some for only $57.95 each, or 6 payments of only $16.50 each. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.

It’s just Detroit-Chicago. You can probably miss the whole 3rd quarter and not actually miss anything.

I don’t follow any of today’s teams, so I’ll have plenty of time for dinner and dessert. And no pumpkin pie for us. Pecan and Sweet Potato.

Quite often it’s decided to delay dessert until later when people aren’t so full. Funny thing is that later never happens and that portion of the meal is just left taking up space in the fridge.

Or he could leave the TV turned off, eat dinner without it, and not miss anything.

If it’s just the two of them, watch the game during dinner. OR order Chinese and watch the game.

The game? There’s 3 of ’em. Although only one of them is likely to be a game.

In today’s world you can pause live TV and not miss anything. Filter out the commercials and be back on live TV before the game is over.
