Really. You can watch livestream footage from the Mars rover (I assume Curiosity) somewhere out there? As much as I love space exploration, I’d think it’s not terribly interesting to watch most of the time. Because of the communications delay, I’d imagine there are long stretches of time where the rover doesn’t even appear to do anything.
There is NASA TVhttps://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/#publicI know its included in some cable packages and shares time with other education/government channels. Where I worked once they used to run it on the cafeteria/break room as a way to keep us informed of what was going on with the products we delivered to NASA. At times it was interesting watching space walks live and hear the Huston<→Astronauts talk or hearing the astronauts in documentary productions shown talk of the mission they were covering.

Why abort? Send a transport ship up with extra cats. This should be fun!

Oh, brother. When I read this in the paper this morning, I thought it said “HOUSE in a spacesuit.”

Yep, the mice in my house never listen to me either. I keep telling them I’m not allowed to have pets, but they just ignore me.

Some mice have been found to build fortifications. And octopus create gardens in front of their homes.
