Why should we be surprised that the adhesive used on the stickers is safe for use on food?

I still wash them after peeling the sticker from the fruit (like an apple).

So, instead of Tootsie rolls, they were Tootsie bricks?

Whoever built that house took a tip from the Pueblo tribe, who also built houses out of adobe;

Those stickers have become a problem for the machines that handle the fruits, and in the composting process.

Just imagine the toxic outgassing from all that recycled plastic. Why would anyone want to be inside such a building.

That leaves the questions of whether or not the stickers are food safe and whether food safe is the same as safe for human consumption, but I am glad the stickers won’t poison the food.

Food-safe adhesive. Yeah, right. How about human-safe? A guy at work daily stuck those from his lunch on his file cabinet. Eight years later, they are all still stuck there. How can an adhesive that lasts eight years be totally safe for humans?

The school reminds me of my favorite quirky Mexican sitcom from the early 1960s: The Many Loves Of Adobe Gillis.

My question is: What is used for mortar? You can’t just stack the bottles on top of one another. Something has to be used to stick them together. Which means the school isn’t built JUST of bottles.

From the picture…. it doesn’t look as if it’s JUST adobe and bottles. Maybe some metal supports?
