Parents and grandparents place plastic ornaments on the bottom, toddlers and dogs and cats alert.

No worries Fred; you are not alone. On a bad day, I don’t need any help from the pets to break things.

Don’t worry, Fred! Over here, Dickens The Wonder Dog got curious and nosed Saxophone Joe (of Hallmark’s Snowman Band) off a staircase where he plummeted ten feet (3.048 metres) to the tiles below. But he (saxophone Joe) wound up better than Humpty Dumpty, and we still love her (Dickens the Wonder Dog) very much…

Too bad they don’t have a cat for Fred to blame.

These things do happen even if it’s just caused by a wonderfully wagging basset tail. All is forgiven, though since you’re much more valuable and loved than an ornament.

It’s okay, Fred. You are still a Very Good Boy!!!

My cat used to do that, never had a do it.
