I don’t worry about drivers texting as much as the ones who text, eat, and shave or put on pantyhose at the same time. If only I were joking. If only it was once. But before texting was a thing I’d often see books or newspapers propped up on the steering wheel.

This comic is funny but distracted driving isn’t. My scariest cab ride ever was with a cabbie who was using E-bay.

I don’t worry at all about drivers who text and drive killing themselves, I worry a lot about them killing ME though!

Texting while driving has always been a hazard. But then we have fools in all ages.

It’s hard enough to write in a moving car. I cannot imagine doing so on a horse, even with a modern pen, let alone with quill and ink.

Every time someone passes me texting, I always think, there’s a tree with your name on it.

Perfectly fine with texters taking themselves out, just so long as the inconsiderate dolts don’t hurt anyone else.

It’s time we stopped worrying about texting etc. and started insisting that people learn how to drive before getting a license — and it’s over a hundred years past time we started locking up or otherwise supervising people who operate a deadly vehicle without a driving license.
