Could also work with curling or hockey.

I’m enjoying this arc (helps if your Grandfather was Danish).

Whatever you do, do NOT take him out for track and field and try to teach him shot putt.

I remember the Disco Bowl-a-rama and the old Bowlero in Phoenix.

I remember the old days when there was a kid sitting above the pins and he would pick them up and rack them again.Anyone that old to remember that?

Animal from the old Muppet show was also known to “bowl overhand”. It doesn’t say anywhere that it isn’t allowed.

While this arc is tons o’fun, in real life Vikings weren’t notably bigger or stronger than anyone else, just really good at rowing long distances, springing surprises, and not being unduly concerned about collateral damage.

This one reminds me of the time I went bowling at night with a friend, and suddenly being surprised partway through our games by cosmic bowling—low lights, colorful spotlights, music, etc. My first time cosmic bowling, and a lot of fun.
