What? I meant the guitar’s!

On a rare occasion when I was a teenager, the family was sitting around the dinner table talking when my older sister came out of her bedroom carrying the family guitar and announced “I fixed my G string!” It took several seconds for my sister to catch on to what she said.

That’ll happen when your bridge nuts are too tight. Practice safer strumming, ma’am.

I call that an err on the g string. I’ll be Bach.

Bubba down in front sure looks excited about it.

It looks like the guy took it the wrong way and his mother, or is that his girlfriend, is none too pleased. I guess I would get excited too if my girlfriend looked like my mother.

I think Mr. Thompson plays guitar. The broken g-string is connected to the correct tuning post.
