I remember as a fourth grader in the 1950’s that our teacher was telling us about parallel and series circuits and how the OLD style Christmas lights were series circuits.

In the first strip I saw this gag it was funny. In the second strip I saw this gag it was cute. In the 3rd, 4th, etc., strip it’s become really annoying. Bah Humbug!

Apparently, bulbs can be recycled.

Ironic that the bulbs have to go out to get lit-up at the party.

Yes they are rotating like tops to stay upright, and their lights go on simultaneously as they are facing you, sort of like gyroscope under a strobe light.

This is an old one. I’ve had this saved for years. Still funny though.
