M.S. Word sometimes confuses singular with plural. It says the amount of passive sentences but not which, and if I don’t see it, I test one sentence at a time.
I do have a tendency to write in a verbose fashion and to overexplain everything, sometimes with a great deal of redundancy, until readers get bored and doze off in front of their screens and eventually conclude that I haven’t really said an awful lot that needed saying, or maybe anything at all. The point I’m trying to make here for all my readers is that it’s just possible I could benefit from the services of a good editor.

The key to good writing is in the editing. Followed by the throwing away.
