My father had my brother and I spread out and take the light strand into the other room while he untangles; inch by inch. I can still here him say: ‘Don’t step on the lights!”
Similar experience for me as an adult. Was in a two week training class and we were having the final exam the next day. This was back in the 80’s when we were building our house. The place we were staying in at the time had no A/C so we had a floor fan blowing. I laid out my notes to study and the phone rang. I got up to answer it and when I returned the fan had blown by notes everywhere. That was NOT fun for me!!
